Final preparations for DCX and IFRA Expo
Hall 21 of the Messe Berlin exhibition centre will become the meeting place for publishers and content specialists worldwide on 8 and 9 October. The 49th IFRA World Publishing Expo, together with the DCX Digital Content Expo, will offer a comprehensive programme from the areas of digital content and publishing, with concrete solutions and innovative ideas. Exhibitors from all over the world are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to present their products and services to a specialist audience and share experiences with industry colleagues. Four stages offer visitors wide-ranging information and visions with different areas of focus.
Networking made easy
Leading industry players, medium-sized companies and small start-ups will share the exhibition floor space in Hall 21. Besides presenting their products and services, the exhibitors will use the industry events as a platform for exchanging information and for networking. A highlight of the exhibitions is the joint Berlin Publishing Night in the “Tipi”, Berlin, on the first exhibition evening, where visitors can meet up with exhibitors and speakers. An integral part of this social event will be the presentation of the WAN-IFRA Print Innovation Awards to companies for outstanding performances in seven categories.
The Guided Tours will give trade visitors the opportunity to get to know at first hand the offerings in six different topic areas. Selected exhibitors will have slots of a few minutes to present their exhibition highlight before the visitors move on to the next exhibitor. Within the space of one hour participants receive a good overview of Best-in-Class products from areas such as Content Management, Multi Channel Marketing or Print Production.
Open stage for more than 50 experts
Four stages on both exhibition days give visitors the additional opportunity to find out about latest trends. The Conference Stage will provide numerous examples of best practice from users for users as well as fascinating keynote lectures on current topics in publishing. The Content Services & Content Marketing Stage will focus on content specialists from companies and agencies while also describing clever tips and trends for managing the content deluge in the digital age. Exhibitors on the DCX Stage will show proven, practice-based solutions and future-oriented pilot projects.
This year, once again innovative start-ups will have their own exhibition area with a separate stage, on which they can convince visitors of their agile solutions.
