Le Parisien


Ariane Bernard is the chief digital officer at Le Parisien, in Paris, since May 2017. She oversees all sides of the digital business there: engineering, product, audience and business development, and innovation. In addition to her role at Le Parisien, she is a board member of Geste, the French online publishing industry trade group.

Prior Le Parisien, Ariane was the editorial products lead at Taboola in New York and Los Angeles, where she oversaw the creation of tools intended for editors and reporters to aid in audience development, data insights, and A/B testing.

Before Taboola, Ariane spent 14 years at The New York Times in various editorial roles in Paris and New York, including as homepage producer and senior editor for the Global edition. She then moved to product-oriented roles based in the newsroom, as a product manager on the CMS and WordPress teams, and as the editorial stakeholder for engineering, product and design teams working on the web frontend platform.
